Create your own book.
You will find all the tools you need to build the best book for your personal interests and needs in BookRiff™'s Create a Riff section.
Anyone can begin creating a by clicking the Create a tab from the Book.com home page. (When you want to save, sell, print, or share the , you will be asked to sign in or create a new account from the register page.) You will be directed to the Create a section where you will find a new blank 48-page has been created for you. You are now free to add as much content as you like (up to 740 pages) to build your personal perfect book in three easy ways:
1. The Search tool: search the BookRiff library or the Web
The Book.com library will be full of content of varying lengths from leading book publishers, magazines and journals, authors, online publications, and other individuals who have uploaded their work for your use. You will find the prices listed next to each content piece, along with other details. You may also find free content to add to your using the web search tool.
You will see the price of your being calculated as you add content pieces, so you know from the get-go how much it will cost. This way, you control your own price.
2. The Write tool
With the Write tool you can type or copy and paste text to form chapters of your own work or text documents you own.
The editing toolbar lets you easily format your work as you go. When you are finished, click save. You will see your work pop up as a new chapter in your table of contents. Don't worry, you can always go back and edit these chapters later.
3. The Upload tool
Use the Upload tool to upload files from your computer as chapters in your . If these are text files, you can edit them the same way you edit text using the Write tool. You can also upload PDF and other image files: these will appear in the exactly as you upload them, resized proportionally to fit the dimensions of the . For tips on formatting print PDFs before uploading, and for a full list of file formats you can upload, see our FAQ.Remember, when you are logged in to Book, files you upload in the Create a section will automatically be saved as private content in your account. You can go back and edit these, include them in other s, as well as price and sell them at any time.
You can access all the files you have saved to your account by clicking on Add Content from Your Library in the Create a section. Click on the add (+) button to add them to your .
When you are satisfied with the contents of your , you can add a title
and description, choose your own cover color, then choose to purchase it, save it, or share it. From start to finish, it's your book.
